As I mentioned when I first spotlighted rising girl group XO on the blog, their debut “Fashionably Late” EP has been a constant fixture on my Spotify since landing in mid-November. It’s one of those releases that sneaks up on you in the best way, revealing new hooks, textures and attitude with every repeat play. And while the entire project is stacked with personality. Ultimately, it’s the swaggering pop belter “Ponytail” that keeps pulling me back in for more. The more I listen, the more musically obsessed I become.
