Watch: 2025 “Together for a Better Day” Concert Brings Avicii’s Legacy Back to the Present
The Tim Bergling Foundation’s annual concert returned to Avicii Arena with Nile Rodgers, Aloe Blacc and more, spotlighting youth mental health.
“Together for a Better Day,” the annual Avicii tribute concert organized by the Tim Bergling Foundation, returned to the late DJ’s birthplace of Stockholm to continue its mission to push youth mental health out of the shadows and into the national conversation.
For fans who missed the night in person, the organization has made the full concert and its individual performances available via YouTube, extending the event’s reach far beyond the walls of the Avicii Arena. The show was originally livestreamed on the platform, while HBO Max carried the broadcast in the Nordics.
Nile Rodgers, who notably collaborated with Avicii on “Lay Me Down,” and Aloe Blacc, the unmistakable voice of “Wake Me Up,” anchored the lineup, which also featured WizTheMc, Tjuvjakt, Sigrid, Seinabo Sey, Sarah Klang, Good Neighbours, Nektar, Nisse Hasselgren and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, among others.
The 2025 edition is the third major installment of “Together for a Better Day,” named after Avicii’s 2015 single. Hosted by Swedish singer-songwriter Ida-Lova and comedian Christoffer Nyqvist, this year’s edition arrived alongside the launch of “Open Stage,” a new initiative designed to create accessible performance spaces for young people across Sweden.
