Jungle Bells Festival Is Going Bigger, Louder and More Unhinged in December
Jungle Bells is doubling down in 2025, expanding to a two-day festival featuring Rudimental, Bou and more.
While the city of Atlanta has been busy cementing its hip-hop legacy, something else has been brewing in the underground, and it’s about to explode across four stages this December.
The organizers of Jungle Bells, one of North America’s fastest-rising drum & bass festivals, have dropped its 2025 lineup, and it’s stacked. The festival is also expanding from one night to a full two-day takeover of Atlanta’s famed Masquerade venue December 12-13.
Heading to the ATL this year are influential drum & bass outfit Rudimental, UK phenom Bou, Mercury Prize legend Roni Size and genre-shaping acts like Kings of the Rollers, Voltage and Dillinja. The festival will also feature performances by ÆON:MODE, the drum & bass alias of EDM.com Class of 2021 star Blanke; and Tomorrowland breakout Andromedik, who recently released his long-awaited debut album.
What started as a grassroots party advertised through photocopied flyers has evolved into a legitimate cultural force. Co-founder Brandon Couturier puts it plainly: “In a city best known as the capital of hip-hop, Jungle Bells has carved out an unlikely but undeniable home for drum & bass.” And the numbers back it up, considering half the crowd travels from across the U.S. or overseas, with some fans making 33-hour treks from Australia just to experience the energy.
The four-stage setup (Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Altar) promises distinct sonic experiences, from melodic future-facing acts like Goddard to techstep pioneers and viral social media stars like Venjent. Afterparties stretch into the early hours because, apparently, two full days of relentless 170 BPM still isn’t enough.
Jungle Bells isn’t slowing down either. They’re in year four of a five-year expansion plan with international offers already lined up for 2026. But even as they eye Europe, South America and Asia, they’re keeping it real, still handing out physical flyers like in the early golden era of raving.
“There’s nothing better than handing someone a flyer in person and seeing their face light up at the lineup, the art, and the spirit of what we do,” Couturier said.
