IN FLAMES Post Cryptic Video To Socials With Latitude And Longitude Coordinates

I’m genuinely starting to think bands get an unparalleled rush when they start teasing something new they’re working on – because more and more bands and becoming more and more cryptic. From cryptic teasers uploaded to social media, to song announcements alluded to by local weathermen, to good ol’ fashioned interview tip-toeing, band’s just love to withhold information. And apparently, In Flames is one of them.

Posting a video to Instagram with a sci-fi style globe with coordinates surrounding it, alongside what looks like what would be computer coding in the top left corner, In Flames offered no caption with the video. The coordinates were specifically “57º42 M Latitude” and “11º58 E Longitude,” which according to Google Maps leads to Levin Sound, an audio post-production company that specialises in recording “sounds, voices, and instruments,” as well as composing and producing “original music.”

A second video was uploaded the next day which shows a similar computer graphic of Sweden, with the frame zooming in on Göteberg (Gothenburg), which is also the location of the recording studio that In Flames appeared to tease in the first video.

And, In Flames has been resharing posts to their stories from an account known as Göteborg Brinner, that has been posting flyers what looks like all over Göteborg, Sweden, as well as a link to a website that contains a countdown for what looks to be Monday (10th November). You can check it out here.
