The First Single From G Jones and Eprom’s New EP Has Arrived: Listen to “Slamming Keys”

The pair is set to drop their “Disk Utility” EP and play four intimate tour dates through the end of the year, including an extended audiovisual show on New Year’s Eve in St. Louis.

A pair of the electronic music scene’s most creative producers, G Jones and Eprom, have reunited for a new single, “Slamming Keys.”

It’s the first single from the duo’s upcoming Disk Utility EP and it arrives after they teased it as the opener to their massive London b2b performance in April. The long-awaited track drops us into a sweat-soaked warehouse with strobes flashing and bass thumping through the floor, living up to its name through its pounding piano strikes.

“Slamming Keys” is a left-field banger, packed with the distorted percussion and quirky sound design that only G Jones and Eprom could conjure. Both unhinged and meticulous, the track speaks to the effortless chemistry between both producers. If it’s any indication, Disk Utility is sure to be full-blown sensory overload, fusing G Jones and Eprom’s styles with surgical precision.

The duo has also announced four tour dates together, playing 360° sets at intimate venues in Chicago, San Francisco, Tampa and St. Louis. Their New Year’s Eve show in Missouri will feature a rare, extended audiovisual set. Tickets are available here.
