Tim McGraw is opening up about how he almost quit country music at one point. That would have been sad, and fans are glad to hear that he was able to continue. So what happened? Keep reading for the details.
Tim McGraw’s Health
Back in July, Tim McGraw had to cancel a big concert over his health. He has had back surgeries and struggled a lot recently. It turns out that this was a huge problem for the country singer. He also had to have more than one knee surgery.
He revealed recently that his wife, Faith Hill, also had to have multiple surgeries. These two have struggled a lot over the last few years. He said that things are looking up now, though. It is harder in the mornings when he got up. Tim has gone through a lot of PT and it seems to have helped him. It is great to hear that he is doing better now.
Why Did Tim McGraw Almost Quit?
At a recent concert on October 25, Tim McGraw opened up about what almost made him quit country music. Here is what he said:
“I’ve had four back surgeries and double knee replacements, just in the last couple of years. And my wife [Faith Hill] is going through quite a few surgeries—she’s had five neck surgeries, and she’s had a couple of hand surgeries. After going through all of that for a couple of years and getting depressed over it and all those things, stuff not working right, this spring, before I had my final back surgery, things were getting really bad.
After all of this, Tim McGraw considered quitting country music and just walking away. He has shared that things have gotten better now, though. It is great to hear that Tim’s health has improved and that hopefully he can continue to tour for a long time. Fans still want to see him in concert and even want him to put out new music.
For now, fans are just going to have to see what Tim McGraw does next, but it doesn’t sound like he is going anywhere. Hopefully, he will be around for a long time.
