MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE To Headline Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple & Louder Than Life 2026
Attendees at the September 19 date of Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY were treated to a surprise announcement: My Chemical Romance will headline three major U.S. festivals in 2026 — Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple, and next year’s installment of Louder Than Life.
The reveal came via a dramatic on-site video package, punctuated by a live performance from a local marching band, setting the tone for the band’s return to the festival circuit.
Just like their recent touring schedule, My Chemical Romance‘s festival sets will celebrate their landmark third album, 2006’s The Black Parade. The record, certified 4x platinum, remains one of the most defining releases of the 2000s emo-rock era, spawning iconic anthems like “Welcome to the Black Parade”, “Famous Last Words”, and “Teenagers”.
Festival dates are as follows:
- Welcome To Rockville — May 07–10, 2026 at Daytona International Speedway (Daytona Beach, FL)
- Sonic Temple — May 14–17, 2026 at Historic Crew Stadium (Columbus, OH)
- Louder Than Life — dates to be announced
This week has already sparked further speculation about additional dates on the band’s rumored Long Live The Black Parade Tour, expected to continue rolling out through 2026. Fan-shot footage of today’s announcement at Louder Than Life can be seen below.
