Man Collects Over 113,000 Rave Flyers, Sets Guinness World Record
Marco Brusadelli started collecting nightclub flyers in 1991 and continued for 24 years, amassing a record-breaking stockpile.
If you’ve been to an Italian nightclub from 1991 to 2015 there’s a good chance the flyer promoting the event has been archived by Marco Brusadelli, whose massive collection has been verified by Guinness World Records as the largest in existence.
Starting in 1991, the Italian man collected a copy of all the nightclub flyers he could get his hands on. He did this for 24 years, sorting and organizing them in a room in his home dedicated to their preservation.
Interestingly enough, his collection exceeds the 113,012 with which he’s credited. He actually has a total of 119,897 flyers, 5,003 of which are from different Italian venues and other events “that did not fit the rules,” according to Guinness World Records.

The collection “includes only flyers of the major clubs, parties and DJs associated to electronic music and its subgenres, such as house, techno, trance, hardcore, progressive, drum & bass, EDM and Afro/cosmic,” per Guinness World Records. The majority of Brusadelli’s repository is from his home country of Italy, but a sizable piece of the pie is from the UK and smaller portions represent various countries around the world.
Brusadelli says his goal is to preserve electronic music history.
“So I have worked for more than half of my life to create this collection for no [monetary] reasons,” he said. “My hope is that my passion could inspire new generations to learn more about the wonderful history of the ‘house and techno revolution.’”
