MUD GRIEF Slings Beefy Riffs On Their Latest Single

Swedish alternative rock band Mud Grief are set to release their highly anticipated debut full-length album on September 12, 2025 via Welfare Sounds & Records. The record follows their acclaimed 2023 EP Noise Pollution and showcases the band’s evolution into a hybrid sound of raw noise, thundering guitars, and razor-sharp melodies.

Formed in 2022 by Elliot Högfeldt and Casper Salenfalk, Mud Grief quickly solidified their lineup with bassist Teo Janssen and drummer Nils Hoff, diving headfirst into relentless songwriting and high-energy performances. Their debut single “Worn Out / Vicious Valerie” introduced a raw, uncompromising sound, followed by Noise Pollution, recorded at Welfare Sounds with producers Per Stålberg and Kalle Lilja, and mastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion.

Since then, Mud Grief have built their reputation on electrifying live shows, performing across Sweden and throughout Europe in Germany, Portugal, The Netherlands, and Denmark. Now, with their first full-length album ready, the band is preparing to take their sound to even bigger stages.

To mark the release, Mud Grief will embark on a European tour, beginning September 10 in Copenhagen and running through December, including multiple headline shows across Scandinavia.
