Miranda Lambert Responds To Backlash For Joining Morgan Wallen On Tour
Some fans of Miranda Lambert were disappointed when she was announced as one of the headliners on Morgan Wallen’s summer of 2025 tour. The singers previously collaborated on several songs, including co-writing his 2023 hit song, “Thought You Should Know.”
Miranda Lambert addressed the backlash in a recent interview with Country Living about the 20th anniversary of her debut album.
“Being on his tour has been really great so far, and I’ve been enjoying watching Morgan in his element,” Miranda said. She added, “His show is extremely high energy, and his fan base knows all the words to all his songs—it’s definitely his time.”

She revealed the new hobby she’s picked up during her downtime during the tour.
Ella Langley Cancels Tour Dates Amid Health Issues
Morgan Wallen’s tour welcomes established singers and gives a platform to up-and-coming singers like Ella Langley. A year after releasing her debut album, Hungover, Ella Langley had a packed schedule this summer. In addition to joining Morgan Wallen’s tour, she was featured on Riley Green’s tour, too.
Unfortunately, she had to cancel the rest of her tour appearances though the month of August. She shared the news on Instagram.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” she shared.
Ella Langley added, “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

The post continued, “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love — it truly means the world to me.”
While obviously disappointed, Ella Langley’s fans encouraged her to focus on her health first. She assured fans she’ll rejoin the tours in September.
Riley Green extended his tour through November. Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour concludes on September 13. Do you think she made the right decision?
