Dolly Parton experienced the heartbreaking loss of her husband earlier this year. The best way she knows how to heal is to keep busy. The “9 to 5” singer is touring for the first time in nearly a decade. Tickets sold out in minutes. Keep reading to find out where you can still find tickets.

Dolly Parton Invites Fans To Be A Star

Dolly Parton turns 80 in January. She isn’t letting age slow her down, but she’s also taking stock and shaping her legacy for when she’s gone. The popular performer has a new hotel opening in Nashville next year that will feature some of her most iconic memorabilia.

The “Coat of Many Colors” singer also takes over Broadway. Dolly Parton’s life story is now a musical coming to New York City in 2026. She wrote the music for the production and has given her approval for the performers (yes, plural!) cast to play her.

There was a nationwide open casting call for the lead role. Now Dolly Parton is throwing a wide net out to her fans for a unique opportunity.

The singer has a book coming out later this year that celebrates her long career with rare photographs and stories. Dolly Parton posted on Instagram inviting fans to be part of the upcoming book, Star of the Show.

She encouraged fans to submit their favorite concert experience, their favorite song, or how she’s changed their lives in an audio clip. Some of the audio clips will be included in the audiobook version of Star of the Show. Head over to her Instagram for the link to submit your own audio clip of your favorite memory of Dolly Parton.

2025 Tour Sold Out, Where To Find Tickets

Dolly Parton’s last national tour was in 2016. She’s made a handful of appearances since then but didn’t want to be away from her ailing husband for long. He sadly passed away in March. The singer opened up about how keeping her schedule packed is how she honors her late husband, who supported her career for over five decades.

In an unexpected surprise, Dolly Parton announced last month that she’s heading to Las Vegas later this year for a limited Residency. She’s not the only one in Vegas this year. Kelly Clarkson recently postponed the start of her own Vegas residency.

Dolly Parton tickets sold out in minutes after they went on sale. Many artists extend the residency if the demand from fans is high. However, there hasn’t been an announcement yet and Dolly Parton’s residency is still scheduled to end after six shows.

The residency dates are December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13. If you didn’t get tickets yet, you’re in luck. While traditional tickets are sold out, available seats can be found on approved reseller sites like Stubhub and Vivid Seats. But it will cost you a pretty penny.

Tickets on both sites are about $1300 to $1500. Business Insider shared a direct link to available tickets to Dolly Parton’s upcoming Vegas shows.
