Ella Langley is one of the hottest rising stars in country music right now. She grew up performing in churches and small festivals. The singer moved to Nashville in 2019 to pursue her dreams. It wasn’t long until fame came calling. She went viral on TikTok in 2021 with her song “If You Have To.”
Social media fame eventually led to a recording contract. Her first full-length album, Hungover, was released in the summer of 2024. The album includes her breakthrough number-one hit song, “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green.

Despite her fast rise to the top, Ella Langley recently opened up about struggling with imposter syndrome. She battled feeling like she didn’t belong back enough to release the latest song off her album. “Never Met Anyone Like You” features HARDY and is sure to be another hit single for both artists. Ella Langley Forced To Drop Out Of Huge Festival At Last Minute
Ella Langley recently added more dates to the Still Hungover Tour that’s taking her across the country. She’s also scheduled to open for Morgan Wallen at a few stops on his I’m The Problem Tour.
But fans hoping to see at the Hoofbeat Music Festival this weekend were disappointed to find out she’s no longer performing. The festival took to Instagram to reveal the shocking news.
“A little switcheroo, y’all — Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ella Langley can no longer make her scheduled performance,” they announced. A reason wasn’t given but American Songwriter speculated that she may have been exhausted and overbooked from touring so much lately.
One heartbroken fan was looking forward to Ella Langley possibly joining Riley Green on stage for a performance of their hit song. The disappointment didn’t last long for many fans. Attendees won’t be without music for the time Ella Langley was supposed to be on stage.
The festival announced Joe Nichols as her replacement. The Hoofbeat Festival runs from June 26th through June 28th in Cadott, Wisconsin.
