Excitingly, she has been announced as tour support for the legendary Sting this summer. She will also be gracing the stage at AFAS in Amsterdam. This time, she focuses on the increasingly relevant issue of ghosting (an impactful form of social rejection). Sophie’s fascination with this subject runs deep. Having explored it extensively in the past, she skillfully enriches the conversation, unveiling new perspectives that are sure to resonate with audiences.
Speaking on the single, Sophie says, “Being ghosted, being left on ‘delivered’, being left ON HOLD. These are scenarios that are just too common in our daily lives. I’m over it. Leave me ON HOLD, and see what happens.”
For the music video, Sophie teams up with frequent collaborator, director Maximilian Stafford. Who successfully creates a striking visual aesthetic for the latest clip. The scene unfolds in a minimalist office space lined with shelves and the occasional phone scattered about.
