ATTACK ATTACK! Might Have Fired Everyone & Gone Country, Or They’re About To Drop Something Heavy

Quick question – what the fuck is going on with Attack Attack! right now?

It all started on May 1 when a now-deleted video was posted to Reddit showing original drummer Andrew Wetzel letting the rest of the band know that he’s the vocalist now, and that Attack Attack!‘s first new record since 2012 was completed behind their backs. Then about an hour ago, Wetzel teased the new Attack Attack! material and it’s… not crabcore. It’s actually country as hell, and Wetzel‘s got the attire to prove it.

So that’s it, right? Attack Attack! is just some garbage ass country band? I’m guessing no. The second half of the teaser has a phone number that you can call, and when you do you’re greeted with something wildly different than the country teaser. It’s a little grainy, but is that Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos as a guest? I have no idea. This whole thing is weird, but color me intrigued.

Regardless of if Attack Attack! is cashing in on the country route, they’re certainly continuing their return in 2025 with The Roadside Rumble Tour, which includes an appearance at Welcome To Rockville this May.
