While “Things I Really Mean” arrived fully fleshed out and vibey, “Double Edged Sword” sees SISTRA exploring a softer, dreamier palette. Built around delicate hi-hat rhythms and enveloped in synthesised textures, the track subtly shifts away from straight pop and leans further into the dance arena. The opening line: ‘For goodness sake – you’ve got the same name, must you speak in the same way?’ is something we’ve now started saying to each other irl…”
