At that point, me and Jason one day were like, ‘Okay, we feel this way, we know so many people do.’ But so many people are afraid to speak out or lost their jobs, or maybe a record deal.’ (We asked) is this something that, because of the position we’re in, we’re going to (go) full steam ahead?
They know that they have a platform where they can speak out on things like this, while others do not. So, they took it upon themselves to be the voice for a lot of people who cannot.
It seems as though Brittany and Jason know that a lot of people feel the same way as them and cannot speak out about it freely. So, since they have the platform and opportunity to do so, they want to speak up for all of the people who can’t. They have never been ashamed of what they believe in or who they are. This is something fans adore about them.
