Listen to RL Grime and WINK’s Ferocious Trap Track, “ALLNIGHTER”
The track pairs RL Grime’s festival-tested production chops with WINK’s growing reputation for filthy trap.
Sleep is the enemy in “ALLNIGHTER,” the latest trap masterstroke from RL Grime and WINK.
Out now via Grime’s Sable Valley label, the track first appeared in the electronic music superstar’s Halloween XIII: The End mix, which marked the shocking conclusion to his beloved long-running October mix series. He went on to play it live and tease fans at a number of major festivals, including EDC Las Vegas.
It’s now hit streaming platforms over a year later, and its title delivers exactly what it promises: a relentless trap banger built for marathon sessions and questionable next-morning decisions. The track’s vocal refrain (“We could do it all night / We could really do it all night”) is the kind of earworm that lodges itself in your frontal lobe, purpose-built for ravers who spend their weekends pushing sunrise back another few hours.
On the production side, “ALLNIGHTER” finds one of the trap genre’s most influential artists teaming up with one of its hungriest and most promising producers. Grime and WINK trade barbs throughout, especially in the second drop, where they lace snarling bass through distorted rave synths.
