Mochakk’s Hollywood Boulevard Event Postponed as Storm Approaches Los Angeles

Framework, the event organizer behind Mochakk’s upcoming Hollywood Boulevard takeover, has announced that the show scheduled for Saturday, November 15th has been postponed due to severe weather forecasts.

The decision comes as organizers brace for significant storm activity expected to move through Southern California this weekend. Los Angeles may receive an entire month’s worth of rain over a span of three days as a “significant” atmospheric river floods the region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), who has warned that flash flooding and mudslides could occur with the storm. The city is expecting around 1.3 inches from the storm, with the greatest chance of excessive rainfall occurring on Friday and Saturday.

The event will now take place on December 13th, according to a statement from Framework. All purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date and organizers have encouraged interested attendees to join the waitlist.

The takeover, which would have transformed a portion of Hollywood Boulevard into an open-air dance venue, represents one of several high-profile events to adjust plans in response to the incoming weather system.

Brazilian DJ and producer Mochakk was poised to headline the ambitious takeover of Hollywood Boulevard, which would have transformed a portion of the storied street into an open-air dance venue. The event, positioned as a momentous stop in his current tour, features an all-Brazilian lineup with Maz and EDM.com Class of 2025 artist Beltran.
