Listen to Sara Landry’s Fierce It-Girl Anthem, “GIRLBOSS”

The “High Priestess of Hard Techno” provides her own vocals for the first time on the new track, an unapologetic techno anthem.

Sara Landry is back with a new single, “GIRLBOSS,” flexing a more confident turn in her signature techno sound as both a producer and vocalist.

Amid a massive year for the EDM.com Class of 2024 artist that’s seen her command worldwide stages from Tomorrowland to EDC Las Vegas to Creamfields, the track serves as a reminder that Landry’s approach to production is as fearless as her stage presence as she continues to carve out her lane as one of techno’s most distinctive voices.

Built around a relentless beat and blistering bassline, “the track “GIRLBOSS” keeps Landry’s hard-driving techno pulse but wraps her usual industrial grit in a more playful edge. Her own vocals chant the empowering hook before the arrangement plunges into a chaotic rhythm near the end, ultimately fizzling out with her voice echoing the title one last time, fitting close for a self-aware and unapologetic anthem.

“It’s a bouncy bop for the girly-pops,” Landry said of the track. “I wanted to make a bouncy baddie track that makes me feel like a boss, so I did.”

Out now via Insomniac Records, the track first turned heads earlier this year at Landry’s Coachella debut, where she premiered it live during her set at the festival’s legendary Sahara Tent. You can listen to “GIRLBOSS” below and find the new track on streaming services here.
