Kaskade Announces First Studio Album in a Decade, “undux”

The influential producer will tackle love, loss and letting go in “undux,” his 10th studio album.

Kaskade, the electronic music icon behind some of the genre’s biggest festival anthems, has revealed undux, his first album in 10 years.

While Kaskade has released several long-form projects over the last few years, including a reimagined version of his seminal Fire & Ice album, his Kaskade Christmas collections and various Redux records, undux stands as first traditional studio album since 2015’s Automatic. That project spawned “Disarm You,” one of his most prized tracks among fans.

undux represents a notable shift for an artist who’s spent roughly three decades defining the emotional contours of EDM with timeless hits likes “Eyes” and “Atmosphere.” Kaskade has built his reputation on euphoric dance music, but undux is said to dial down the dopamine in favor of a deeper sound.

The new album will tackle love, grief, personal upheaval and what it means to rebuild after breaking. According to a press release, Kaskade’s lyricism will thread themes of “reconnection, renewal and emotional honesty.”

undux shares a name with Kaskade’s recent sold-out tour, a run of unique daylight raves through which he aimed to “explore connection through subtraction” by stripping away the distractions of sensory overload that often plague DJ sets. He’s now poised to present the album at one of the world’s most iconic music festivals, Coachella, after being named on its 2026 lineup.

Kaskade has not announced the release date of undux at the time of this writing, but the press release notes that it’s due out in the winter of 2025 through Monstercat and his own label, Arkade.
