JASON RICHARDSON & ALL THAT REMAINS Part Ways

After nearly five years as lead guitarist for All That Remains, shred virtuoso Jason Richardson has officially announced his departure from the band. In a statement shared via social media, Richardson confirmed that the split was amicable, citing a need to prioritize his own solo career and upcoming opportunities.

All That Remains and I have decided to amicably part ways,” wrote Richardson. “I’m incredibly proud of the record we made together and grateful for the relationships I’ve built during my time with the band. With everything happening in my own career and new opportunities that I have ahead, I need to prioritize what makes the most sense for my long-term future.

“There will be updates soon that I’m really excited to share with you all! I genuinely wish the rest of the band the absolute best in everything they choose to pursue. Excited for my next chapter! I’ve been grinding on a lot of different things behind the scenes and I’m feeling very optimistic rn.”

Richardson joined All That Remains in 2018, stepping in after the tragic passing of founding guitarist Oli Herbert, and only performed on the band’s 2025 record Antifragile. Outside All That Remains, Richardson also played with All Shall Perish between 2009 and 2010; Born Of Osiris between 2009 and 2011; and Chelsea Grin between 2011 and 2015. Most of Richardson‘s output these days is as a solo artist.

All That Remains has not yet issued a statement on Richardson‘s departure.
