Trisha Yearwood Breaks Down Honoring Musical Idol

For decades, Trisha Yearwood has been an inspiration to many country fans. She not only has won Grammys, but she is also a cookbook author, actress, and more. There is literally nothing that she cannot do, and that is what many admire about her. Furthermore, she has dealt with rape accusations against her husband, the equally famous Garth Brooks. Things have been hard, but she has more than pushed through and shown what a strong woman she is. Now, she is honoring someone else who has influenced her deeply while in the middle of a sold-out show.

Trisha, 60, took the stage at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. While there, the performers were honoring Linda Ronstadt. This was immensely special to Trisha as she became inspired to become a singer thanks to Linda:

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Linda Ronstadt is THE reason I became a singer. Celebrating Linda and her fellow L.A.-based musicians alongside some of my biggest musical heroes is a lifelong dream come true for me.

It was not just a show for Trisha but rather a chance to let Linda know how she defined her life and career. Along with Trisha, Patti Scialfa, James Taylor, and Emmylou Harris gathered for the iconic event.

This was part of Trisha Yearwood’s dream as she co-produced the show, and was very proud to do so. The goal was to feature and highlight those who shaped the country-rock genre. As much as Trisha loved doing this show, fans were just as enamored. Anyone who was in attendance had nothing but praise for the performers and made that very clear.

A Lovely Night

Those who joined Trisha Yearwood in honoring Linda Ronstadt were in awe of the show. They immediately took to social media to express the love that they had for the evening. It was more than a celebration, but the gathering of a community that shared in a very special moment:

  • It was a fabulous event.
  • In my top ten all-time live concerts. And I have been going to concerts for near on 70 years.

Many also noted how this concert should be available to stream and for everyone to see because it was that good. Hopefully, they listen and all fans can celebrate Linda in this remarkable way.
