Sacred Acre 2025: Experiences That Will Define Alaska's Wildest Festival

In an era when many major festivals recycle similar lineups and experiences, differing only in timing and location, Sacred Acre stands apart with an intimate, singular offering. The Ninilchik, Alaska-based festival boasts a lower capacity and higher purpose than most of its contemporaries.

Alaska’s largest electronic music festival promises a multidimensional experience that blends music, nature, and activism into an unforgettable weekend. From high-altitude adventure to deep-grounded wellness, here are some key experiential offerings that will define the 2025 edition.

The Audiovisual Experience

Sacred Acre will feature three stages and 72 hours of music from the likes of TroyBoi, Jade Cicada, Emancipator, Desert Dwellers, The Funk Hunters, Dirt Monkey, and more than fifty other artists across bass, experimental, and downtempo genres. The festival is capped at approximately 5,000 attendees, ensuring an intimate and immersive setting. Attendees will experience Alaska’s largest laser and lighting display, transforming the night sky above the Kenai Peninsula into a full-spectrum visual performance.

Adventure Excursions

Helicopter Tours
Offered through Alaska’s Ultimate Safaris, tours depart directly from festival grounds and range from 10-minute scenic loops to 1.5-hour glacier landing adventures.

Bumpin’ on the Bay
A limited-capacity DJ cruise on Kachemak Bay featuring national artists, breathtaking ocean views, and sunset dance sessions in the heart of Alaska’s coastal wilderness.

Underwater Halibut Spearfishing
In partnership with Coldwater Alaska, guests can engage in a sustainable spearfishing excursion—an experience that is equal parts adventure and ecological education.

Kenai River Fishing & Foraging Hikes
Guided daytime experiences provide access to one of Alaska’s most legendary salmon rivers, paired with regional plant foraging tours led by local naturalists.

Wellness and Workshops

Stillwater Reflection Center
A dedicated space for over twenty-five free workshops, open to all GA ticket holders. Offerings include yoga, breathwork, sound healing, ecstatic dance, intention setting, and cacao ceremonies.

Tranquilitea Lounge and Tavern
Grounding social spaces to recharge, connect, and reflect throughout the weekend.

Psychedelic Education Series
A curated set of discussions and presentations focused on mental health, harm reduction, and conscious exploration.

Theatrical and Immersive Elements

SeaLegs Stilt Troupe
The festival’s iconic theatrical ensemble returns with beloved characters Laorca and Crabetha, joined by newly introduced “forces” that advance a site-specific narrative throughout the weekend.

Family Super Jam
A collaborative, intergenerational musical set bringing together artists and surprise guests in a genre-blending celebration of community.

ARCHES Campground
On-site camping nestled within a spruce forest just a short walk from the main stage. Includes access to gear rentals and comfort-focused upgrades.

Environmental Mission and Impact

Sacred Acre was founded as a direct response to the threat of factory trawling and bycatch destruction in Alaska’s waters. Its commitment to environmental advocacy is woven into every facet of the weekend—from a zero-plastic operations policy and compostable-only vendors, to ocean education installations and donation partnerships with marine conservation groups.

Attendees are invited not just to witness, but to participate in a movement to protect Alaska’s natural ecosystems—bridging music and mission through direct action, awareness, and intention.
