Zach Bryan Makes Shocking Purchase After $350 Million Contract
Zach Bryan shot to stardom in 2022 with the album American Heartbreak. The Navy vet signed with Warner Records in 2021 after an honorable discharge to pursue a music career. He released several albums independently but American Heartbreak was his first album with a label. The “Something in the Orange” singer released several more albums.
But he tired of the music industry and indicated that he was done with Warner after fulfilling his initial contract. But now things have changed. He recently re-signed with the label and made another massive deal totaling over $350 million. Keep reading to find out the shocking purchase he made after signing the deal.
Zach Bryan Sells Catalog For Massive Amount
Zach Bryan originally got into the music industry because of his love of writing songs. He writes the majority of his own songs. And now he got a big payday for it.
According to Variety, the country star signed a massive deal that earned him over $350 million. He re-signed with Warner Records for reportedly at least two more albums. Furthermore, he signed over his publishing catalog to the highest bidder.
The move came as a shock to fans because he recently talked about recording one last album for the label, quitting touring, and going back to school. It’s unclear what changed his mind and why he’s continuing in an industry he doesn’t like.

His Purchase Shocks Fans
Zach Bryan dominated headlines for the last few years not for his music career, but his love life. He dated podcast Brianna “Chickenfry” Paglia for a little over a year. They broke up in October 2024. She made some shocking claims about the singer, but he’s since moved on.
The singer recently made a massive purchase with his big payout. He purchased a church in Massachusetts. He also bought a mansion in the state in 2024. A mansion is understandable with his wealth, but why a church? The answer may surprise you.
A lot of his music includes religious references, but that’s not the reason behind the purchase. Zach Bryan paid a hefty sum for the former Saint Jean Baptiste Church in Lowell, Massachusetts. Writer Jack Kerouac reportedly used to be an altar boy there.
Along with Allen Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs, Kerouac is credited as one of the founders of the Beat Generation of the 1950s. Jack Kerouac’s 1957 cult hit book “On The Road” is rumored to have inspired Zach Bryan to write “Burn, Burn, Burn.” The book was based on Kerouac’s travels across the United States with his friends.
According to The Kerouac Society, the singer intends to turn the church into The Jack Kerouac Center, which will feature live music, readings, exhibits and community events. An opening date for the new center hasn’t been revealed yet but check back with County Music Alley for the latest on Zach Bryan and all your favorite artists.
