Chris Stapleton’s tour will start on June 6 in Charlottesville, Virginia,  instead. The Greenville show was rescheduled for July 9. The singer took to social media to address the situation.

He revealed that the abrupt cancellation was beyond his control. Some of the tour equipment needed for the show was damaged in transit.

Once the tour equipment is replaced, the tour will go on without a hitch. Country legend George Strait joins Chris Stapleton for a few dates.
