Whether she is taking the stage with country music legends like Reba McEntire or touring in support of the likes of Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert has done it all in the music business. She even completed her hugely successful residency in Las Vegas as well.
Lambert Set Her Sights On A New Venture Recently
With someone like Miranda Lambert, she is always looking for her next challenge. Based on the most recent updates from the country star, it looks like she found it, too. It turns out, Miranda took part in her first-ever mounted shooting competition at Flying Pistols Ranch.
Miranda shared both pics and video footage from her time competing, and the video shows the country singer shooting at targets with a pistol while riding on horseback. As longtime Miranda fans know, she has a passion for horse riding. So, adding a little shooting to the mix seems like the next logical step in the equation. As a bonus, she looked like something out of the Yellowstone universe as she shot and rode with confidence.
Miranda Lambert Loving Her New Hobby
Not surprisingly, Miranda Lambert fans are praising the country singer for branching out and trying something different. From the looks of it, it seems she has a knack for this, too. Cool Horse was Lambert’s partner in crime, and together, they put together an impressive showing.
If fans recognize Cool Horse, it’s because they have seen the animal in one of Miranda’s previous music videos for her single “Run,” which the singer released in February. According to Lambert, she wrote in the caption of a recent update: “thanks to @kenda_lenseigne for putting on the first Flying Pistols jackpot shoot so I could get my first one under my belt. Cool took great care of me.”
Miranda Lambert fans are loving seeing her in action, and if she keeps it up, Taylor Sheridan could come knocking to ask her to appear in his Yellowstone universe. For now, it looks like Lambert had a great time, and she clearly enjoyed taking part in this special event.
