With everything that Dolly Parton has been dealing with since the loss of her husband, the country music icon recently made her first public appearance since the tragedy. Less than two weeks since his passing, Parton was seen making a public appearance for the first time.
Parton showed up at her theme park in Sevierville, Tennessee, at Dollywood, making her first major appearance since losing her husband of nearly 60 years. Dolly even stopped to wave at some fans, as many screamed how much they loved her.
All things considered, and after everything she has recently been through, she seems to be holding up pretty well, as both she and her team walked toward the back of a building.

Dolly was at the park to perform “Celebrate the Dreamer In You,” at the 40th grand opening of Dollywood, and the iconic performer even joked that her husband would expect her to be working. She said: “He would expect me to be workin’ today, so I expect to be workin’… Of course, I will always love him, and I’ll miss him.”
